Sailor Bob Coffee’s Costa Rica Tarrazú Jaguar Honey is a single-origin Arabica grown in the legendary Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, between 1,200 and 1,800 meters (3,937–5,906 feet) above sea level. This high-elevation environment produces dense, complex beans celebrated for their clarity and sweetness.
Cupping at 86.5 points, this lot ranks among the top tier of specialty coffees worldwide — prized for its balance, structure, and naturally sweet finish. The Honey process (a semi-washed method) leaves part of the fruit’s mucilage on the bean during drying, imparting a honey-like sweetness, silky mouthfeel, and layers of caramel, chocolate, and bright citrus. Each sip offers depth and refinement, finishing clean with a lingering natural sweetness.
