Kashmiri Kahwa is a refined, elegant tea from the Kashmir region, traditionally made with green tea, saffron, spices, and nuts. Unlike milk-based chai, kahwa is light, aromatic, and often served after meals. It’s known for its calming effect and luxurious aroma, making it perfect for slow, mindful sipping.
Ingredients (2 mugs):

2 cups water

1 tsp green tea leaves

6–8 saffron strands

1 small cinnamon stick

2 green cardamom pods, crushed

1 tbsp crushed almonds (or slivered)

Honey or sugar to taste
Method:

Infuse spices: Bring water, cinnamon, cardamom, and saffron to a gentle boil. Simmer 5 minutes.

Add green tea: Add green tea leaves and turn off heat. Let steep 2–3 minutes only.

Strain: Strain into cups to avoid bitterness.

Sweeten & garnish: Add honey or sugar and top with almonds.
