Lemongrass Chai

Lemongrass chai is fresh, citrusy, and uplifting. The bright lemon aroma cuts through the richness of milk and tea, creating a balanced and refreshing cup. This chai is popular in tropical regions and feels especially comforting without being heavy.
Ingredients (2 mugs):

1 ½ cups water

1 cup milk

2 tsp black tea leaves

1 stalk fresh lemongrass, crushed

1-inch ginger (optional)

Sweetener to taste
Method:

Prepare lemongrass: Crush the lemongrass stalk to release oils.

Simmer: Add water, lemongrass, and ginger to a saucepan. Simmer 5 minutes.

Add tea: Add tea leaves and simmer 1–2 minutes.

Add milk & sweetener: Add milk and sugar, simmer briefly.

Strain & serve: Strain and enjoy hot.
