Saffron Chai

Saffron chai is rich, aromatic, and luxurious. Often reserved for celebrations or slow evenings, this chai has a warm golden hue and a subtle floral depth. While saffron is delicate, its presence transforms the entire cup.
Ingredients (2 mugs):

1 ½ cups water

1 cup milk
-
2 tsp black tea leaves

6–8 saffron strands

2 cardamom pods

Sweetener to taste
Method:

Soak saffron: Soak saffron in warm milk for 5 minutes.

Simmer spices: Simmer water and cardamom for 4 minutes.

Add tea: Add tea leaves and simmer 1–2 minutes.

Add milk & saffron: Add milk with saffron infusion.

Sweeten, strain & serve.
